The Last of Us is an upcoming American-Canadian post-apocalyptic drama television series that will air on the HBO platform.
Based on the 2013 video game of the same name developed by Naughty Dog, the series follows smuggler Joel (Pedro Pascal), who is tasked with escorting teenager Ellie (Bella Ramsey) across a post-apocalyptic United States. Other roles include Gabriel Luna as Joel's younger brother Tommy, Merle Dandridge as the leader of the resistance organization Marlene, and Anna Torv as Joel's smuggling partner Tess.
